DIYSOS Manchester - Homes For Veterans

After returning from war, many servicemen and women across the UK are left with life changing physical and mental scars. Some come back to a civilian world of uncertainty and daily nightmares, and some with no homes to return to.
Over 12 days the DIYSOS team and some 200+ tradesmen from all over the UK, transformed an entire street in Manchester to provide housing for these heroic people.
Working to the design by ‘Adam Frost’ (and with a little help from Prince William and Prince Harry), the rear gardens were transformed into a series of spaces offering different areas for mixed use.
Services included: Groundwork, Walling, Paving, Brick Patios, Access Ramps, Planting.
